The long term objective of these services is to assist the Province of Bali and local governments south Bali manage solid waste to the best of international standards in line with the reputation of Bali as a top class international tourist destination. The immediate objectives of the services are: to assist the ADO Working Group operationalize fully the Regional Operator Board (BPKS/Badan Pengatur dan Pengendali Kebersihan Sarbagita) and the Independent Regional Waste Management Supervisory Board (Badan Pengawas Pengelola Kebersihan); Provide these agencies with support such that the Regional Solid Waste Management Strategy and corporate plans outlined in the previous phase of the study are understood and local PERDA required to support the strategy are implemented; Prepare the preliminary design, standard operating procedures (SOP) and cost estimates of the new regional TPA; Prepare a Pre-feasibility Study for the Regional Composting Facility; and Prepare bid documents for PSP involving TPA Operation and Composting.
